KCH Report

Feb 18/19 Triple Gold – Twice

There were some mighty fine performances at the Leinster Juvenile Indoor Championships in Nenagh this weekend. Pride of place goes to our two triple gold winners – Ciara Deely and Cliodhna Manning. Ciara competing at under 13 level won High Jump, Long Jump and 60m Hurdles. Cliodhna was sprint perfection winning the 60m, 200m and 300m under 18. Another treasure was Lauren Gleeson who smashed the under 14 Long Jump record with a 5.13m clearance. Further gold medal winners were Jack Manning – High Jump under 15; Aaron Barron – 200m under 16; Sinead McDonagh – High Jump under 18; Lorraine O’Shea – 60m under 19.

Further afield Louise Holmes had a good day at the Scottish Indoors where she won bronze in the 60m and finished sixth in the 200m final
