KCH Athlete Anna Sheehan, had a fine performance at the All Ireland Schools Cross Country Championships in Galway leading the Loreto Kilkenny team to the bronze medals in the Intermediate Girls event. Rachel Butler, St Senans representing Ursuline Waterford finished 38th in the same race.
St Senans athletes Bronagh Kearns (8th) and Aine Kinsella (30th), representing Abbey CC, had good runs in the Senior Girls Race . Jonathon Crowley, representing De la Salle finished in 17th overall in the minor boys race and Isobel Morgan was on the Ursuline Waterford team that finished 5th in the minor girls race.
ST Kierans College were bronze medal winners in both the Minor and Intermediate Boys events.
Meanwhile in the universities cross country 10k race Eoin Everard finshed in 11th place.
