Cliodhna Manning: another sprint double at Leinster Schools Track and Field Championships

KCH athlete Cliodhna Manning competing for Loreto had a magnificent sprint double in the Leinster Schools Track and Field Championships today 100m: 12.12, 200m: 24,21

Sinead McDonagh (Loreto)won the Senior High Jump 1.6m

Sarah Kate Lacey (Loreto) silver in 300m 41.78 sec

Sophie Parkinson (Kilkenny College) won the Senior Sot Putt 10.85m and Emma Fenlon (Rosbercon)was second 10.48m. Sophie also won the discus with a throw of over 40m. fellow Gowran athlete Diarmuid Hickey (St Kierans) was third in the senior boys discus and 4th in the Senior Shot Putt.

Loreto Kilkenny were Senior Relay winners  and took silver in the Intermediate Relay

Shannon Dawkins (St Marys New Ross) was the winner of the Intermediate High Jump

Sarah Buggy, St Abbans, won a double Gold for Castlecomer Community School in the Senior Triple and Long Jump and set a new triple jump record

Nessa Millet also St Abbans (Kilkenny College) won the Senior 400m
