In the Leinster Combined Events Jack Manning, KCH, competing at under 15 level, scored another golden performance at the in Greystones. Catriona Twomey had to settle for silver in the under 18 event.

Ten teams KCH were successful winners of medals at the Leinster Inter-club Relays in Tullamore on Sunday. The senior girls were in top form with the under 18 girls winning gold in 4x100m and 4x400m finals. For the under 19 team it was another gold in the 4×100 final. The under 17 girls won silver in the 4x100m final. All of these teams have experienced success at this level on a number of occasions.
The KCH U9 relay teams had their first taste of success with the girls putting in an outstanding performance not only qualifying for the final but coming home with the gold medals. The under nine boys were equally impressive and having qualified for the final they put up a great battle in the final where they were rewarded with silver medals. The under 13 boys with two teams taking part had team A winning gold and team B winning bronze. The tenth set of medals, following a superb performance in the final, was won by the under 16 boys.
St Senans also enjoyed a successful day in Tullamore with their Boys Under 10 team taking silver medals and their Girls Under 12 team winning bronze medals. St Josephs Boy’s teams did well also with their U11 team winning gold, the U12 won silver and the U9 Boys went home with bronze Thomastown the Under 11 Girls team won bronze with their Girls Under 10 and Under 12 teams both finishing just outside the medals in 4th place.
