Monday June 4th – Athletics Leinster juvenile team event
Thomastown had four teams competing in the Leinster juvenile team events in Celbridge on Monday 4th June and came away with three sets of bronze medals and a 4th place. The girls UI0 & U12 along with the Boys U11 took bronze while the girls U11 were unlucky having finished joint 3rd with Celbridge but lost out on count back.
U10 Girls – 3rd Team – Aine Kirwan, Anna Cass, Isabelle Ryan, Roisin Moran and  Katie Taylor

U11 Girls – 4th Team: Ciara O’Keeffe, Orla O’Keeffe, Roisin O’Keeffe and Dearbhla O’Reilly

U11 Boys – 3rd Team: Tom Holden, Jordan Knight, Peter McDonald and Liam Treacy

U12 Girls – 3rd Team: Sinead O’Keeffe, Emily Taylor, Keri Whelan and Annmarie Gillespie

KCH:

Kilkenny City Harriers achieved considerable success at the Leinster Team Competition in  Celbridge last weekend. The under 9 Girls (Emma Manogue,Caoimhe Carroll, Fiona Dillon, Margaret M O Shea, Bronagh Davis) won silver; The under 13 girls (Rebecca Keane, Ella Richardson, Leah Raggett, Martyna Balcer)won gold and the under 15 girls (

Aoibhe O Shea, Annie O Connor,  Niamh McMullan,  Keeva O Brien, Aisling Morrissey) also won silver.

The boys were also very much to the fore with the under 9 boys (Joe Fitzpatrick,

Cathal Poyntz, Michael Raggett, Eoin Deeley) winning gold, the under 13 boys ( Evan Clarke, Edward Dunne, Adam Fitzpatrick, Johnny Collins) winning silver and the under 15 boys (Jack Manning, Luke Fitzpatrick, Shane Mc Geary, Eamonn Fennelly)

also winning gold.
