Leinster and Munster Schools Cross Country: Kilkenny club athletes feature

In the  recent Munster Schools Cross Country St Senan’s had a number of athletes representing their schools

In the Senior Girls race Rachel Butler finished in 7th place and was a member of the Ursuline Waterford team that finished in the silver medal position.

Oliver Mullally, representing Abbey CC finished in 8th place in the Inter Boys Race. In the Junior Girlas race Isabel Morgan was a member of the Ursuline Waterford team and in the Junior Boys race Jonathon Crowley finished in 8th place and lead  DelaSalle Waterford  to the  team silver medal position.

Munster Schools Cross Country Results

In the Leinster Scools Cross Country St Kierans Inter Boys team won gold and their Minor Team won bronze. Castlecomer Athlete Sean Buggy finished in 26th place in the inter Boys race.

The Loreto Inter Girls team won  silver with Anna Sheehan the first Loreto Kilkenny Girl across the finish line. Castlecomer Ac athlete Lauren Dermody finished in 36th place and was third scorer on the Loreto team
