Leinster Road Novice and Masters: Kilkenny athletes do well

Thomastown and KCH athletes did well at  the Leinster Road Novice and Masters race in Gowran today

In the womens Novice Race Thomastown took the silver medals in the club event with their finishers 6th, 26th, 27th and 48th

The county team also finished with silver medals scores being Aoife O Connor (TT), Donna Dowling (KCH),  Maeve O Connor and Sinead Whelan (TT)  finishing 6th, 17th, 26th and 27th respectively.

Aoife O Connor was an individual medal winner as well finishing with individual bronze in the Novice race.

The Womens masters event which was run in conjunction with the novice race also proved fruitful for Kilkenny athletes with KCH winning club gold and Kilkenny taking silver medals in the county event.

The scoring athletes were Catriona Corr, Barbara Rossiter and Kate Millea
