All Ireland Champion
What a fantastic day for St Josephs AC today in Tullamore!
JohnJoe Lawlor has been training hard for his All Ireland Race Walk, and was hoping for a gold. He began the race well prepared and a bit hopeful,,,,, and finished it in 1st place, earning him the All Ireland Race Walk Champion 2013 title.
Verena Fenlon performed again today with great gusto, earning her not only 1st in the Shot Putt and 2nd in both Javelin and Hammer, but also 3rd in the High Jump and the Discus.
Paudie Barron competed in both the 100m and 200m, and was unfortunately just outside of the medals, finishing in 4th place.
Pat Power competed in three events today, and finished 1st in both the High Jump and Long Jump, and 3rd in the 100m.
