International Eoin Everard (KCH)
National 1500m champion a silver medallist Indoors at the National Track and Field Championships.  County Senior Cross Country individual silver medallist and club gold. European Cup 6th place finisher in the 1500m in a time of 3.43.09,

Senior Track and  Field:  Emma Fenlon (St Josephs)
County Senior Track and Field:  two gold and three silver and a bronze medal at the  in the Shot, Javelin High Jump, Hammer Discus and 100m.
Leinster Senior Track and Field: Gold in the Shot Putt and Weight for Distance and a Javelin bronze.

Senior Cross Country: Brian Maher (KCH)
County Senior Cross Country: Individual and team Gold.
National Inter Club Cross Country: 9th place just missing out on selection for the Irish European Cross Country team.

Race Walking:  John Joe Lawlor (St Josephs)
Leinster Indoors: Gold M45; National Indoors: Gold M45; County Senior Track and Field: Bronze and County Senior Road Walks: Silver. Outdoor Gold at both the Leinster and National Track and Field Championships.

Road Racing:  Donna Dowling (KCH)
County 10km Road Championships: Gold;
Leinster Road Novice: 6th place and club team gold with county team silver.

Masters Award: Pat  Power (St Josephs);
County Track and Field Championships: M50 gold in the 100m, 200m and silver in the 400m and High Jump along with Senior  silver in the Senior Long and Triple Jump competitions.
Leinster Indoor Masters Championships: Gold High Jump, Long Jump and 400m and 60m and 200m silver in the M50 category.
National Indoor Masters Championships: Silver in both the 60m and 200m.
Leinster Masters Track and Field: Long Jump gold and silver in the 100m, 200m, 400m and High Jump.
National Masters: bronze in the Shot Putt.

Junior Award:  Peter Lynch (KCH)
Leinster Junior Championships: 1500m gold outdoors and silver indoors;
National U-19 Championships: silver at 3000m and 5000m.
Leinster Junior Cross Country Champion and silver medallist at the Nationals. Selected for the Irish Junior Team for both the Celtic Games and the European Cross Country Championships in Hyeres.   

Juvenile Track and  Field:  David Murphy (Gowran)
Leinster Indoor Championships: Gold in the 60m and 200m, bronze in the Shot Putt.
National Indoor Championships: Gold in the 60m and 200m, bronze in the Shot Putt.
County Track and Field Championships: Gold in the 100m and the Discus.
Leinster Track and Field Outdoor Championships: Gold in the 100m and 200m.
National Track and Field Championships: Gold in the 100m and 200m with a championhip best performance in the National 200m event. Gold in the 100m at the Celtic Games International.

Juvenile Cross Country: Aine Kirwan (Thomastown)
County Cross Country:  U13 and U14 County Champion. She is also
Leinster Cross Country: U14 Champion and 5th U13 and U-14 team gold .
National Cross Country: U-13 individual and club team silver medallists and 4th place finish at U 14 winning club to gold


  • Club Awards (nominated by their clubs for recognition by the County Board)

Brow Rangers: John Joe Kelly, Castlecomer: Will Fox;
Gowran:  Mick Walsh, KCH: May Hutt, St. Josephs: Bob Saunders,
St. Senans: James Alyward, Thomastown: Girls U- 14 Cross Country team
