Tailteann Games 25th June 2001

The Tailteann Games, Interprovincial for Schools, were held in Morton Stadium Santry today June 25th 2011. A Number of Kilkenny Athletes featured for their schools. Sophie Parkinson, Kilkenny College was  a double medal winner with gold in the discus and silver in the shot putt. Cliodhna Manning, Loreto had a double on the track in the 100m and 200m winning bronze and silver respectively. Bronagh Kearns Abbey Community College took bronze in the 3000m in a top class race

The Tailteann Games is a schools interprovincial for provincial medal winners in the Intermediate category.
