Highlights:
Gerry Madden presents the Shield to WAC
WAC win the Shield for best overall club on the day.
There were some good wins for Kilkenny athletes
Double golds for Jordan Knight (TT) in the 80m and Long Jump, Saoirse Allen (SS) 80m and 300m. Sophie Becker and Paul Manning in the Junior 100m and 400m.
There were wins on the track for Liam O Dwyer (G) in the 80m, Jack Elliott (SJ) and Lorna Monaghan (SS) in the 100m.
The race walkers Nicky Connolly (CC) and Isabel Morgan (SS) won their races.
Aine Kirwan (TT) took first place in her 700m race.
There were wins for Oisin Griffin and Mia Griffin in their 700m races and to finish off a successful day for the family Maria was the winner of the Senior 1500m race.
In the field events there were two golds for Brow with Oisin Kelly and Patrick Darcy winning their Shot Putt events. Also winning Shot Putt Gold was Sinead McEvoy (SS).
St Josephs athletes did well in the long jump events with wins for two of their athletes Sarah Lawlor and Clara Kennedy
