Donagh Mahon at the European Youth Olympics Trials

Gowran AC High Jumper travelled to Baku, Azerbaijan,  with the Irish Team to take part in the European Youth Olympics Trials, Donagh qualified for the final and finished in a very creditable 7th place clearing 2m and 6cm

Another Gowran AC athlete  on international duty this weekend was Sophie Parkinson. The DCU student finished in 3rd pplace in the Shot Putt in Ireland v Scotland University Challenge.
