St Senans AC Open Cross Country will be held on Sunday next in the Sports Complex, Kilmacow. The start time is set for 1.00pm sharp.
There will be races for Juvenile and Senior athletes alike.
For girls and boys in the U-8, 9 and 10 categories there will be prizes for the first ten finishers in each race. There will also be races for juvenile athletes in the even age groups from U-12 to U-18 with first three individuals and first three club teams. The Fintan O Sullivan memorial cup will be awarded to the best overall juvenile club on the day.
Junior and Senior women will race over 3000m while the distance junior and senior men will be 7000m with cash prizes for Seniors.

This is the first cross country event of the season in Kilkenny and will be followed by a busy Championship season with ten cross country championship sundays on the calendar before Christmas.
