2019 Ladies Mini Marathon (10km)

It was lovely to see an athlete from the county win this year’s ladies mini marathon. Aoibhe Richardson (KCH) had a great victory with 34 min 35 seconds. Aoibhe has just finished her degree and athletics scolarship at Portland University in Oregon USA and is home from the summer.
Both her mother Niamh and sister Grace also completed the race.
Incidently her mother Niamh managed to finish 2nd in this race in 1991 and 1992 and 3rd in 1994. Her fastest time was 34.29.
