County B Uneven Ages & O35

While Emma Hickey, Nick Griggs and the Irish Cross Country Teams were making history in Lagoa, Portugal this morning on a lovely grassy sandy course, the future stars of Kilkenny athletics were braving the lashing wind and rain at the County B’s in Graiguenamanagh. It was another fun morning of racing on a well laid out course by Barrow Harriers, where the 400m course suited everyone from the U7’s right up to the U15’S. The only ones to contend with the big hill (just a few times) were the nifty O35’s who took it all in their stride along with the gusting wind and rain that was getting heavier by the minute. Well done to all that competed in the last cross country event for 2025. Massive thanks to all in Barrow Harriers for hosting another great event, and a special mention for Callum Barron who was chatting to and cheering on all the kids this morning after his great win last week at the National Novice.
