STOOK 10, County 10 Mile

The County 10 Mile was once again hosted by Gowran AC in Dungarvan, Co.Kilkenny over the weekend. Stook 10 is a long established event, that sees the village of Dungarvan awash with enthusiastic runners from far and wide taking on the infamous STOOK hill in both the 10k and 10M distance. It also incorporates the County 10 so lots of the Kilkenny clubs are keen to race runners as part of the road race series. There is also a fast 5k chipped race perfect for hitting PB’s and the family 5k is ideal for runners and walkers. The refreshments after the races are a highlight for all and the cowbells are certainly the main attraction!!!
