Leinster Para Games

Three athletes from Kilkenny clubs were competing in the Leinster Para Games in Santry last weekend in both track and field disciplines throughout the day. Naoise Reddy from St. Joseph’s, competed in the 100m track race winning gold, bronze in the Shot Put and bronze in the Discus also. Alex Donnellan Gowran won gold in the Discus, silver in the 100m and bronze in the Shot Put. Kang O’Gorman Brow Rangers competed in 6 events across the Games, winning bronze, silver and gold in three of his disciplines. Congratulations to all three competitors who have opened their Track & Field seasons with great achievements so far, and many more in the coming months.
