This weekend on the Road: Tinryland Autumn League Charleville half Marathon and Rathfarnham 5k

Stage 3 of the Tinryland Road league was held on Wednesday night Sept 19th over the two mile course

Colin Tobin, Gowran AC continued his good form and completed in the course in a time of 12.09. Gowran Veteran Marty Kelly improved his time by 23 secs  to finish in 13.23. Also from Gowran  Leon Gordon ran 12.39 and Angela Gordon completed the race in 16.37.

Autumn League Stage 3 Results

In the Charville Half Marathon David McPherson, KCH, had a great run finishing in seventh place in a top quality field. David posted an excellent time of 1.09.32 for the 13.1 mile course. In the same race kilkennyman David Comber, Leevale AC, finished in 32nd place with a time of 1.17. Irene Henebry, KCH, finished in 5th place in the V45 section with a time of 1.43.04

Charleville Half Marathon Results

At the Rathfarnham 5k Toss Hayes, KCH finished in a brilliant 4th place with a time of 15.05 mins. The race was won by Martin Quinn, Dunleer AC, in a record time of 15.00 mins. Over 1000 runners took part.
