The new year may be upon us but already the county is into its 2nd event of the new year. The county sportshall athletics for u/8s to u/11s will be held this saturday 13th January in the Watershed Kilkenny. Please note the new start time of 2.30pm. It is expected that the program will be completed by 6pm.
Events are as follows:
1. Standing Long Jump
2. Speed Bounces
3. Chest Push
4. Foam Javelin Throwing
Then to finish with relays
1. 1 + 1 Lap Relay.
2. 2. + 2 Lap Relay.
3. 6 lap Paarlauf
4. 4 by 1 lap relay
5. Obstacle race 4 per team.
Clubs are asked to supply at least three officials. For more information on the individual sportshall events click on the link below.
