GREAT EDINBURG RUN FOR EOIN

GREAT EDINBURGH XCOUNTRY MIXED RELAY
Eoin Everard of KCH represented Ireland in the 4 X 1km miixed relay today at the Great Edinburgh XCountry in Hollyrood Park. The team of Eoin, Laura Crowe (An Riocht), Kieran Kelly (Raheny) and Kerry O’Flahery (Newcastle) finished 4th overall behind the British, Spanish and Belgian teams.

Eoin took the starting mantle and ran an impressive leg, hunting down the fast paced Belgians. He passed the baton to Laura Crowe. Ireland were right up there with Laura at times taking the lead. Kieran Kelly took over from Laura, but the might of the British and Spanish were beginning to show. He handed over in 4th place to Kerry O’Flahery – who maintained 4th place right to the end. Ireland finished 4th of 8 teams – right ahead of Scotland A and B and the Americans. Well done to Eoin.
