2019 National Road Relays

The KCH team of Eoin Everard, Thos Hayes, James Ledingham and Shay McEvoy finished 4th in the National Road Relays in St Annes Park Raheny at the weekend. They were just 2 seconds off 3rd place. A great race by all accounts. Eoin was joint first with Raheny handing over the batton after his 2 mile leg. James Ledingham was next with the shortest leg – the one mile and Thos Hayse completed the 3 mile stint. Shay McEvoy ran the final leg of 2 miles to eat up the ground – taking the team from 5th into a very close 4th.
Sile Carroll of Castlecomer (who still declares for Kilkenny as her county team) was running for Liffey Valley AC and her team finished in 10th place overall – with Sile running a very good first leg.
