KILKENNY ATHLETICS AGM

The Kilkenny Athletics County Board AGM took place last Friday over zoom. Outgoing chairperson Margaret Dillion thanked everyone for assisting her through another Covid year and gave praise to all those who helped get some county action going for 2021, with a full complement of track, field, road and cross country events being held. Kilkenny is now has the title of having the longest continuous running of the county senior cross country in Ireland. While most counties failed to run their county senior cross country during successive lockdowns, Kilkenny sought to maintain their unblemished record. Perri Williams the PRO thanked the Kilkenny People and KCLR for providing generous coverage of all athletics events each week. Ensuring the accolades of our brilliant athletes are known to all.
