Leinster Juvenile Track and Field Championships Day 1

Saturday saw clubs from all over the county travel to Tullamore for the first day of the Leinster Juvenile Track and Field Championships. This day features the Under 9 to Under 11 pairs, the Inter County Relays at ages Under 11 and Under 13 and elements of the Under 12 and 13 championships.

It was a very successful day clubs from Kilkenny with Gowran AC taking home 7 pairs medals and KCH landing 5 pairs medals and 3 individual medals.

St Senans brought home two medals with one of the highlights for the day being Eve Dunphy’s performance in 600m.

Kilkenny brought home three medals in the inter-county relays with a gold in U13 girls with an all-KCH team, Silver in Boys U13 and Bronze in Girls U13.
