In Bermingham, Alabama Peter Lynch (KCH), who was representing University of Tulsa, competed in the American Indoor Athletic Conference. Finishing 5th in both 5000m and 3000m races he showed considerable improvement on his performances at the 2019 Conference. This year’s times 14.21.42 for the 5K and 8.10.85 for the 3K compare very favourably with the 14.35.12 and 8.27.84 achieved in 2019. Peter was of course a member of the Irish u23 team that competed at the European Cross Country. He will now embrace the indoor and track season in an effort to keep lowering those 3000m and 5000m times.
