Bronze for Walsh at Seniors

Evan Walsh produced an amazing display in Santry, stepping up to compete in the Men’s Senior 10,000m racewalk and set a new PB of 49:35.34. Walsh who has trained hard since coming back from injury last October, has had a great indoor and outdoor season across various age categories. This is Walsh’s 4th National medal having won gold in the U19 Indoor 1500m, gold in the U19 T&F 5000m, and bronze in the U20 Indoor 3000m. Gearoid Long St. Senan’s contested the Men’s 5000m B race on Sunday in style, continuing on from his success at the Cork City Sports win, he ran the 5000m B race in 14:51.74 to finish in first place. Brow Rangers duo Adam Dunne and Robert Patterson were throwing 35lbs in the U20 Weight for Height, with Adam securing gold with a throw of 4.40m and Robert throwing 3.80m for bronze.
