Over the weekend two athletes from Kilkenny were selected to represent Ireland at the Activity Alliance Games in Coventry. Alex Donnellan Gowran and Kang O’Gorman Brow Rangers were chosen as part of a 23 strong Irish team to compete in various track and field events over the two days. The weekend showcases the exceptional talents of all these athletes, with brilliant results for both Alex and Kang. Alex won gold in her Discus, Shot Put and Javelin, while also setting a new PB in the Discus. Kang won gold in all three of his events also, the Shot Put, Long Jump and Discus. Congratulations to Alex, Kang and Team Ireland on their amazing achievements.
