National Track & Field Day 3

National Juvenile Championships

Day 3 and 4 of the National Championships got underway on Saturday with the older juveniles competing in their final events, and the National relays and National B’s underway on the Sunday. There were three medals won on Saturday with Gowran and Kilkenny City Harriers represented on the podium. James Kelsey won his 2nd National medal at outdoors in the U19 High Jump, having won the Pole Vault two weeks previous. Ella Sorohan powered through the Girls U16 200m heats and in the final finished in 3rd place for bronze in 26:00. Victor Lamph was in action in the Boys U18 400mH, winning his final in a time of 56.07, to add another gold to his outdoor season, having won gold in the U18 400m in Tullamore on Day 1.
