SIAB International

The annual SIAB International was held in the Mary Peter’s Track, Belfast over the weekend. Athletes selected from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales compete across the two days, with two Kilkenny City Harriers athletes Victor Lamph and Patrick Wall selected for the Ireland team this year. Victor was running in the Boys 400m and won his final in a super time of 48.32 to claim victory and the gold medal. Victor was part of the 4x400m relay that finished in 2^nd place for silver and named the Best Irish Male Athlete overall. Patrick was unlucky to not medal finishing 4^th in his 400mH in a time of 58.36. Both boys won points for the Ireland team that finished on 174 points and second team overall.
